Irradiate
Your product will be exposed to ionizing irradiation, effectively eliminating microbial pathogens with a 99.9% pass rate.
Ionizing irradiation works by creating enough energy to strip electrons away from atoms, creating ion pairs. This process damages DNA leading to cellular death.
This process not only destroys potentially damaging microbial pathogens, it also extends shelf life and preserves quality. Compared to other technologies that employ reactive oxygen species, such as ozone or peroxide gases, ionizing irradiation has no measurable impact on potency nor the aromatic qualities of cannabis and is vastly more effective at reducing microbial loads.Additionally, unlike reactive oxygen species baths, ionizing irradiation can be achieved without excess handling and exposure of product to the elements. Your product remains sealed and untouched for the entire process, removing any potential for damage in handling.
